Short presentation:

Manuc-Bey was named the “Armenian Prince” who always supported his people. When establishing in Hînceşti, he brought with him about 100 Armenian families. He built an Armenian church on the territory of the domain (which does not exist anymore), a cemetery where there is the tomb of Manuc-Bey family.

Until 1905 life was at its best. Well-known guests were invited; feasts and hunting activities were organized. Basins, open artificial fountains, lakes, a 6000 book library – all were at the disposal od the guests.

In 1881 the hunting castle designed by the architect Bernardazzi in the style of the French villas was built. In the construction there was used brick made on the domain after a special technology. On the walls of the castle there can be seen pictures of hunting dogs, hunting tools. The castle is not very big, but it is comfortable. The main issue is that Bernardazzi’s creation was preserved intact, although it was built 125 years ago and the wolf-head frameworks bear the fingerprint of time passing by.

In 1976, after the restoration of the domain, a museum for the research of the natal land was opened. There are pictures of the domain 100 years ago, old work tools, documents relating about the history of the Mirzaian family and many others. The inhabitants told about the main secret of the domain regarding secret underground constructions. Even nowadays the inhabitants find brick walls and underground tunnels. Where do these tunnels lead, how many secrets do they keep?

We are only to enjoy the great constructions, to listen to the fate of the “Armenian Prince” and to enjoy the contact with history and beauty of the hunting castle.
