This place was meant to be a touristy Mecca.
Tourists are astonished, they touch and enjoy this palace in such a holly and picturesque place. It was built during 1816-1817 when Manuc–Mirzaian settled in Hînceşti. In 1817 Manuc-Bey dies and leaves in his will all his assets (among which there was the mansion from Hînceşti) to his sons Ion and Grigore.
In 1936 with the help of daughter Ecaterina, great-granddaughter of Manuc, a 250 volume library of great bibliophilic and bibliographic value was purchased.
A new a palace, similar to the one from Hînceşti Town, is built by Manuc-Bey in Bucharest in 1808 having 80 rooms. The palace can be found in Bucharest, as a hotel. The mansion of Manuc-Bey is the most beautiful place in Hînceşti Town.
All along the park, there is broad alley to the palace. The facilities of the mansion are actually in the woods, although nearby there are houses of the Hînceşti inhabitants. The specialists discovered different styles: Turkish, Armenian, local painting. The walls of the palace, according to the historians, were painted by the painter Aivazovschi. The building is enormous, but nobody can testify how many rooms there were in the past. All along the years, the rooms were carved up and re-carved. The palace was built in record time – only in one year. But the Master could not enjoy the masterpiece of an unknown architect as he died the year of the execution of the building.
Until 1991 there was the Construction College of Hînceşti Town.
