Church having the saint bearing of the Saint Voievodes Michael and Gabriel

The old church was built in 1811 of wood. The works to the new church started in 1989 after a project from Lvov Region. In 1990 the church was built, of stone foundation, with brick of silicate brick on the exterior and red brick on the interior.
In 1990 the place was hallowed and the foundation stone was put by Vladimir of Moldavia, with the participation of priests from the Republic of Moldavia. The works on the interior and the exterior were finished in 1994. it has 9m width and 26 m in length. In 1993, the coating works were done and in ’94 it was painted by the painter V. Sandu. Master Nicholas from Ismail Department arranged the yard and the fence in 1994.
The church was built by the village men and the President of the Association, Gheorghe Ciobanu. M. Snegur – President of the Republic of Moldavia has also contributed with its salary.
The church is built in the form of a ship with 5 domes, one in the middle and four on the sides. The main dome holds the Candelabrum. The cover of “Jesus Christ’s Tomb” was kept from the old church. The belfries were remade in Iaşi after the model of the old ones.
Most of the church objects are preserved in the Village Museum from Borogani Village. The total number of the patrimony is of 560 these are: numismatic, archaeological, ethnographical objects, photos, documents, pieces of furniture, old books and manuscripts, annuals, arms and armours, stamps, etc.
